World History Week of May 1 - 5

The test over Unit 9 is Tuesday, May 2. I will post the Kahoot and the Flipquiz for it after class on Monday. We will quickly get started on Unit 10 and plan to test Tuesday or Wednesday of the next week. Sorry for the crunch, but all of the World History classes are experiencing this. I'm proud of the way you are meeting the challenge.

World Literature Week of May 1 - 5

We will continue to read Mango Street until we finish it. We will have a short unit on Chinese Literature that we will start this week. We will learn about writing a literary analysis essay  that will be due after we finish Mango Street.

World History Week of April 24 - 28

This week, we will begin Unit 9 on Industrialization, Imperialism, and World War I. This will be a fast unit, and I will announce the test date as soon as I have it from the group of World History teachers.

World Literature Week of April 24 - 28

On Tuesday, we will have the test on Indian Literature. We will continue to read from Mango Street and begin learning about literary analysis. This will culminate in a five paragraph essay on Mango Street. The vocab test will be Friday, so we will also review for that.

World History Week of April 17 - 21

We will finish Unit 8 on the Revolutions with a test on Friday, April 21. During the week, we will finish notes for the unit and review. I will post the link to the review game after we have played it on Thursday.

World Literature Week of April 17 - 21

We will finish the unit on Indian Literature this week and have a quiz on Friday. We will continue to read and analyze The House on Mango Street and have presentations of Mango Street projects.Link for Indian Literature Test Review Kahoot
