World History Week of April 16 - 20

We will continue with Unit 8. The test will be broken into 3 parts, with the first part on Tuesday. It will be over the Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment.

World Literature Week of March 26 - 30

Argument essays are due on Monday. We will finish Persepolis and review for the Unit 2 test on Monday and Tuesday. On Friday, we have a special Media center activity to learn research skills.

World History Week of March 26 - 30

We are working on the Unit 7 mini-unit. The summative grade for this unit will come from the group project you are working on. You can either do a power-point presentation or a poster to explain your terms. We will have a quiz over the information on Wednesday. Depending on how many permission slips I get back, we will either watch Amistad or a different movie on Thursday and Friday.

World Literature Week of March 19 - 23

We have a busy week. We will continue to read from Persepolis every day; however, our main focus will be the Argumentative Essay. On Monday, we will review the story "A Problem" that will serve as the basis of your essay. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we will cover two additional articles that relate to the subject of justice. On Thursday and Friday, we will write the essays in class. Also on Tuesday is the Vocab quiz. Study the fill in the blank worksheet that we did in class on Friday to prepare for it.

World History Week of March 19 - 23

The test on Unit 6 is on Wednesday, March 21. I will post the Flipquiz game on Monday after we play it for the first time. We still need to learn about Zheng He on Monday. We will begin Unit 7 with Word Wall words as soon as you finish your test.Flipquiz Unit 6

World Literature Week of March 12 - 16

This week will be packed with learning about the argumentative essay, continuing Persepolis, and preparing for the Unit 2 Summative test which is Friday, March 16. I will post a review for the test ASAP.
