August 18, 2015: We started with a five minute drill on multiplication. We reviewed some of the more difficult problems from the Kuta worksheet that combined multiple skills such as adding fractions and decimals as well as positive and negative integers. We then took notes on multiplying and dividing positive and negative integers and added the page to our interactive notebook. Next, we played an interactive game called Milling to the Music which gave us practice adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions. We added a page to our interactive notebook on operation vocabulary. Finally,we completed the first three word problems on the homework worksheet. Please give the rest of the word problems a try and come to class with questions and concerns.
August 19, 2015: Today we worked in groups to prepare for the Module 1 Assessment.
