8-10-15 We practiced adding and subtracting fractions with like and unlike denominators and multiplying and dividing with fractions.
8-11-15 We worked on converting between scientific and standard notation, and we worked with powers of 10.
8-12-15 We continued with converting between fractions, decimals, and percents and placed these on number lines. We made a human number line in class where each student received two or three cards to place on a number line at the front of the class.
8-13-15 We began learning about the Real Number system and added Frayer models to our Interactive Notebook.
8-14-15 We took a 5 minute drill test on addition. We took a pre test on adding and subtracting integers. We continued with the Real Number system and added more cards to the human number line. We took two quick skills checks on converting fractions and powers of 10.
