On Monday, we started with a warm up about Thomas Paine's Common Sense and the Declaration of Independence. Then we watched the brainpop episode about the Declaration of Independence and completed the activities associated with it. We then played trashketball to review for the quiz on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, we started with a warm up about Common Sense. We then played bingo to review for the quiz; then we took the quiz. After the quiz, we started filling in Revolution vocabulary.
On Wednesday, we started the New Nation powerpoint and cloze notes and continued with vocabulary.
On Wednesday, we worked on New Nation notes and began discussing the new government under the Constitution.
On Thursday, we took notes on the Federalist era and the structure of the new government.
On Friday, we watched a brainpop about the Constitution, added to vocabulary, and started on the Federalist, Anti-Federalist mini-project.
